Presents

I am still in shock and awe that Riley was interested in opening presents and playing with the toys that he got. Although he picked out most of them, I did hide them and wrap them. Some of the things that he liked were a big pizza with toppings, bowling pins, all puzzles, basketball goal, tunnel, and those Imaginext Dinosaurs. Pretty cool that he was playing with toys. Although he did get a little obsessive with those colored bowling pins. He actually liked kicking them down more than rolling the ball at them.

Overall Riles did really great over Christmas. Not having a schedule or not knowing what was coming next didn’t really bother him. I can’t recall a screaming fit and even though he didn’t sleep in the van at all, he kept occupied by the doodle board or white board and dry-ease markers. I taught him how to draw a fan at Gymnastics the other night and now he can draw one really well. He can also write his name, draw shapes, (while naming them) and write the numbers 1-10. I know that he can write the alphabet but I guess he is over that at this moment.

Sat on potty every 15 here after w/ no accidents.

5:00 Sat on toilet and grabbed Chicka Book. I went and sang HSM w/Kylie. Came back and there was GOLD!! Yellow Pee!!! Praised him and he wanted a gummy. That’s 2 today!
